Service Agreement and Acceptance of Terms

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) outline the rules and regulations for using our website and services. By accessing or using our website and services, you agree to comply with these Terms. If you disagree with any part of these Terms, please do not use our services.

By booking a cleaning service with Chicago Cleaning Group (“Company”), you (“Client”) agree to the following terms and conditions. The Company reserves the right to amend these terms at any time without prior notice.


1. Services

1.1 We provide residential and commercial cleaning services tailored to your needs.
1.2 Our services are subject to availability, and we reserve the right to decline a service request at our discretion.
1.3 All bookings must be made in advance through our website, phone, or email.


2. Pricing and Payment

2.1 Prices for our services are provided at the time of booking and are subject to change without notice.
2.2 Payment is required at the time of service unless otherwise agreed upon.
2.3 We accept credit cards and debit cards only.

2.4 Pricing and Hourly Rate Policy For residential or commercial properties 3,000 square feet or larger, the Company charges an hourly rate determined at its sole discretion. The Client will be informed of this rate before the service begins.

2.5. Payment and Pre-Authorization The full service amount will be held on the Client’s card at the time of booking. Upon completion of the service, the full amount will be charged. If the Client fails to provide a valid payment method, the service may be canceled.

2.6 Deposits The Company requires a non-refundable deposit based on the type of service booked:

  • One-time residential cleanings: 20% to 30% deposit

  • Deep cleanings and commercial cleanings: 30% to 50% deposit

  • Recurring services: 10% to 20% deposit

2.7 Cashless Transactions and Tipping Policy The Company operates as a cashless business. All payments must be made via credit or debit card. Any tips given go directly to the assigned cleaning professional. 


3. Cancellations and Rescheduling

  • Cancellations made more than 48 hours before the scheduled service will result in a full refund of any deposit or pre-authorized hold.

  • Cancellations made within 24–48 hours before the scheduled service will incur a cancellation fee of 50% to 100% of the total service cost or deposit.

  • No-shows or cancellations without notice will be charged 100% of the service cost.

  • Clients may reschedule their service without penalty by providing at least 24–48 hours’ notice.


4. Client Responsibilities

 4.1 The Client must provide accurate and truthful information regarding their property and cleaning requirements at the time of booking. For example, The square footage of the space must match the details provided for the quote. If discrepancies are found, the final price will be adjusted accordingly.

4.2 The Client must ensure access to the property at the scheduled cleaning time. Failure to provide access may result in cancellation and applicable fees.

4.3 The Client is responsible for securing or removing any valuable or fragile items from areas to be cleaned. The Company is not liable for damage to unsecured items.

4.4 If, upon arrival, the cleaner determines that the cleaning scope is significantly greater than anticipated, the Company reserves the right to adjust the service price to reflect the additional work required


5. Limitations of Liability

5.1 While we strive to provide high-quality services, we are not liable for:

  • The Company is not responsible for damages to personal belongings left out during the cleaning process. Clients are encouraged to secure or remove valuable or fragile items before the scheduled cleaning. 
  • The Company’s liability for any claims, damages, losses, or expenses shall not exceed the total amount paid by the Client for the service.
  • Normal wear and tear of property or items.
  • Pre-existing damage.
  • Delays caused by factors beyond our control.

6. Indemnification

The Client agrees to indemnify and hold the Company harmless from any claims, damages, or losses resulting from the Client’s actions or negligence, including but not limited to unsafe conditions, hazardous materials, or pre-existing damage.


7. Unforeseen Circumstances

In the event of unforeseen circumstances such as natural disasters, extreme weather, illness, or other emergencies that prevent the Company from providing services, the Company reserves the right to reschedule or cancel services without penalty.


8. Dispute Resolution

Any disputes between the Client and the Company shall first be attempted to be resolved through good-faith negotiations. If a resolution cannot be reached, the dispute will be handled through mediation or arbitration before seeking legal action.


9. Confidentiality

 The Company respects Client privacy and will not disclose any personal or financial information to third parties, except as required by law.


10. Intellectual Property

All content on our website, including text, images, and logos, is the property of Chicago Cleaning Group. Unauthorized use, reproduction, or distribution is prohibited.


11. Change to Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Any changes will be effective immediately upon posting on our website. Your continued use of our services and website constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

12. Governing Law

These terms and conditions shall be governed and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the State of Illinois. Any legal proceedings must be filed in a court within the jurisdiction of Illinois.
